Fees & Insurance
I provide self-pay services only and I am Out-of-Network with all insurance companies. This means that clients are responsible for payment and payment is due in full at the time of the appointment. For clients with reoccurring appointments, a credit/debit card will be kept on file and billed automatically following each appointment. For questions about reimbursement, please contact your insurance company.
Fees
My counseling fees are based on my degrees and years of experience in the field of psychology. Fees are set as outlined below:
Intake
The fee for the first session, commonly referred to an as "intake," is $200. This meeting will be scheduled for 50-55 minutes. During this session we will talk about your reasons for coming to counseling and what you would like to get out of your experience. Clients who arrive more than 10 late minutes for an intake will be asked to reschedule.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling sessions will be billed at the rate of $200 per session and will be scheduled for 45-50 minutes. Please note the 50-minute "therapy hour" will be reserved for you and charged in full regardless of whether or not you use the full time. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late for their appointment will be asked to reschedule. On rare occasions, sessions may be scheduled for longer than 50 minutes and the additional time will be charged at the rate of $50 per 15 minutes.
Phone Calls & Consultations
There is no fee for phone calls relating to scheduling appointments or other administrative tasks that last under 10 minutes.
Your concerns are best addressed in scheduled appointments. However, you may schedule a phone call between sessions if we decide it is truly needed. You may also request that I provide consultation to other members of your care team (Primary Care Physicians, Psychiatrists, etc.) to help coordinate your treatment. Phone calls and consultations are billed at a rate of $50 per 15 minutes.

Insurance Reimbursement
At your request, I can provide you with a Superbill at the end your sessions so that you may submit it directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. Rate of reimbursement varies by your insurance company and your out-of-network benefits. If you plan to do this, it is recommended you call your insurance company prior to the intake appointment to ask about your benefits and the process for reimbursement.
Some helpful questions may include:

1) Do I have mental health benefits? If yes, is there a deductible I must first meet?
2) What are my out-of-network benefits for psychological services?
3) What is the reimbursement rate for intakes (CPT code 90791)? What about therapy (CPT codes 90834 or 90837)
4) Is there a limit on the number of sessions per year I can receive reimbursement?
5) How long should it take to be reimbursed?
